Hay objetos que vibran en el subsuelo soterrado no porque una acción los estimule directamente sobre sus cuerpos, sino justamente porque otro objeto/cuerpo vibra a su lado en una misma frecuencia, dando lugar a lo que se conoce como el efecto de resonancia o vibración por simpatía. Dado que cualquier cuerpo responde indirectamente a una vibración externa emitida por otro cuerpo cercano con el que comparte una afinidad armónica. La resonancia es entonces una manera específica de entrar en relación con el espesor del entorno.
